Platforms
Windows#
The primary and fully supported target for both engines. SwfMesh ships a 64-bit native library; 32-bit players are not supported and will fail to load the plugin.
Unity 2022.3 or newer, Godot 4.6 or newer - see Getting Started for the full requirements.
Unity Nintendo Switch#
Switch support is available for Unity only, on request and under NDA. The standard Unity and Godot packages ship no console binaries - licensed developers receive the console library separately, and the terms are separate too: see Licensing.
Console builds carry no tessellator, so every asset must carry a current bake - see Offline mesh baking.
Godot has no Switch path.
Other platforms#
macOS, Linux, mobile, and Web are not currently supported. The core is portable C++ and Rust with no platform-specific dependencies in the render path, so these are a matter of build and test coverage rather than architecture - but none of them are available today, and none are on a committed timeline.
We would rather add the target someone is actually waiting on than guess, so there is no published roadmap for these. If one of them is blocking you, say so - see below.
Requesting a platform#
If a target you need is not listed above, ask - the answer depends on demand and on whether the engine's own support for that target is stable.
Email hello@swfmesh.com with the platform, the engine, and your timeline. Concrete needs move things along faster than general interest.
